Dr. Jill Wood graduated from the Atlantic Veterinary College in 2001. She spent 19 years in private practice before joining the Prince Edward Island Department of Agriculture and Land as the Chief Veterinary Officer in October of 2020. The CVO on PEI is responsible for policy and regulatory issues related to animal health and welfare and for fish health certificates in relation to PEI's cultured finfish industry.
