Carrie-Anne was raised in the small town of Lachute, Québec, an hour north of Montréal. She moved to Ottawa in 1998 to pursue a career in the public service. She has been working with the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) since 2005, and recently joined CFIA’s Office of the Chief Veterinary Officer as the Program Coordinator and Secretariat, bringing with her 17 years of experience in the administrative field.
